Information for Lunar New Year at Pechanga Resort Casino
Lunar New Year is an important cultural occasion for so many in our Southern California community. That’s why we regret we will not be holding the usual annual Lunar New Year festivities this year due to COVID restrictions. Pechanga remains committed to stringent, comprehensive health and safety measures instituted since June 1st. We hope to be able to fully celebrate Lunar New Year traditions next year.

Pechanga Resort Casino near Temecula announced via social media that it will closed to the public at noon on New Year’s Eve. It will reopen the morning of New Year’s Day. (File photo by Frank. High stakes and low buy-ins provide excitement and the chance to win big. The 14,000-square foot bingo facility ushered in players with a Grand Opening the afternoon of July 4. The issue here with Pechanga is the players club and the lack of rewards offered. In order to benefit I estate that you would need to play (and lose) at least $500.00 just to get a single buffet. Pechanga started in double wide trailers, and today has grown into a resort.
Tribal leadership is assessing this new development. Any new information will be posted here. Pechanga remains open but is under very limited occupancy and reduced operational restrictions with comprehensive safety measures as we have been since reopening June 1st.

We’ve been in communication with officials since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March. We have not been asked to close resort casino operations. Since reopening in June, Pechanga Resort Casino has enforced health and safety measures that are even more stringent than what surrounding jurisdictions initially imposed, including mandatory masks, temperature screenings, and limited operations.
